I intially purchased this ring, and soon found out why it was so inexpensive for Platinum. It was extremely thin and my husband was not happy with it at all. I contacted the seller immediately and he was wonderful and very responsive. He worked with us to find the perfect ring that my husband envisioned, and created a new ring in less than two weeks (with no problem returning the other one)...just in time for our wedding! We ended up with the same style ring, but in Paladium and it's great! Our only complaint is that the matte finish we requested began to scratch literally almost immediately and now the matte finish is completely gone. The ring is all scratched up with a shiny finish instead of Matte finish! The finish was free so of course I didn't think it would be amazing, but definitely expected it to last much longer than a month. Now we are going to have to pay to have it refinished somewhere else. For the record my husband works in an office environment and generally is not working with hands or rough with the ring either. Overall the seller was extremely attentive and intent on making us happy with our purchase, but I would beware if you are getting a matte finish..
